Players will need Mac OS X 10.9.1, 14GB of free hard drive space, 4GB RAM, a 512MB graphics card and a processor with at least a 2.0 GHz output. She uses firearms and stealth as she explores semi-open hubs. In these hubs she can raid challenge tombs to unlock new rewards. Her task is to complete side missions and search for resources which can be used to make useful materials.

The setting and narrative are based on Mayan and Aztec mythologies, consulting historians to design the architecture and people of Paititi. The gameplay was influenced by both fan feedback and the wishes of Eidos Montréal, incorporating swimming and grappling. Lara is able to hold her breath underwater for a longer period of time due to the introduction of air pockets. She also gains the ability to rappel down a cliff using a rope. The game’s hub is revealing the hidden city of Paititi. Also, Shadow of the Tomb Raider has a new barter system. This allows you to trade resources, salvage parts and weapons.
