Хочу установить Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard с флешки Transcend 16GB, у меня сейчас стоит Mac OS X 10.5.3. Делаю всю по инструкции для установки Mac OS c флешки из образа dmg, но у меня процесс восстановления образа завершается сообщением 'Не удалось восстановить - Операция превысила ресурс времени'. Как восстановить образ на флешку??
попробуйте стереть самому флешку, уберите галку Стереть, восстановите. может получится

Ну как? Получилось? У меня такая же проблема. Целый день не могу восстановить dmg.

Сам dmg открывается? Монтируется.
Или попробуйте SuperDuper.

Да, dmg открывается и монтируется. Скорее всего, проблема с самой флешкой Transcend v60 16Gb, так как даже просто весь архив на нее не копируется (просто в качестве теста решил копирнуть большой файл), тоже застряет на 2.7 Gb, а потом выдает ошибку -36. Только вот как пофиксить флешку под маком - понятия не имею. Попробую SuperDuper-ом.

Хмммм. SuperDuper - это не то. Это просто аналог TimeMachine. А мне, боюсь, нужен что-то типа JetFlash Recovery Tool, только для мака.

Дисковая утилита на редкость капризная программа, я восстанавливаю установочные образы на флехи с помощью SuperDuper, дисковая утилита всё время выдаёт ошибку

Сейчас действительно отформатил под fat32. До этого все-равно была ошибка. Смысл тот же: при копировании большого файла процесс останавливается на 2.6 - 2.7 Гб.

на fat и не должно влезать больше, форматни в HFS

Блин, ну причем здесь фат. Ведь мак ставите.
Переформатируйте всю флешку под мак и проблем не будет.
