Before Mac OS X reigned supreme, there was System 1 through System 9, which spanned 17 years from 1984 to 2001. 1984 - 2001 (56 images). OS X (pronounced oh ess ten) is the brand name of a series of Unix-compatible operating systems and graphical user interfaces developed, marketed, and sold by Apple Inc. Since 2002, Mac OS X has been included with all new Macintosh computer systems. It is the successor to Mac OS 9, the final release of the 'classic' Mac OS, which had been Apple's primary operating system since 1984. Majorariatto Museum is a free game/virtual installation containing pictures and illustrations with attached information of everything surrounding the indie studio Majorariatto, along with some hidden secrets. This is an ongoing project that will keep being updated with more pieces and new rooms as the studio keeps making new history.

The Vintage Mac Museum is a private, working collection of the pre-Intel Apple Macintosh: 68k and PowerPC Macinti, old Mac software, period advertising and memorabilia. We provide old Mac file transfers and conversion services, along with research into old Mac technologies for patent prior art searches or academic purposes. This website is designed to be both a virtual museum and a compilation of resources to help find information about old Mac hardware and software, gain access to legacy data, and keep old Macs running.
